The Coleridge Campanile

A ring of 8 small bells,
the tenor weighing 10lbs in the key of G.

The bells were cast in July 1997 by Matthew Higby and Richard Bowditch.
They were installed in Anne Carpenter's home in Crowthorne by
Matthew Higby and Tom Chapman on 14 July 1997.

This Campanile is named in memory of
Canon G F Coleridge 1857 - 1949

President of the Central Council 1921 - 1930

Master of the Oxford Diocesan Guild 1933 - 1946
(Chairman of the Sonning Deanery Branch 1923 - 1947)

Vicar of Crowthorne, Berkshire 1904 - 1949

In December 1999 the Campanile was installed in the home of
Peter Bevis and Helen McGregor in Waccabuc NY,
and in January 2001 returned to its original owner
to be installed, again by Matthew, in Anne's new home.
